# Fund a client account wallet

> Add funds for client usage and verify the payment and account ledger.

Use this wallet when your agency has enabled rebilling for the client account. It is separate from the parent workspace wallet.

## Access requirements

Accept an invitation to the intended client account and sign in with that email. You do not need parent-workspace membership just to access your account wallet. The **Billing** entry is shown when rebilling is enabled; if it is missing, ask the agency to review that setting and your account access.

The agency must have a working Stripe connection. The new-card payment flow can create or repair the account's Stripe customer. If payment reports a customer or connection error, ask the agency to review it.

## Add funds

1. Open the account's **Settings → Billing** and verify its identity and wallet balance.
2. Choose **Saved card** or **Pay with a new card** in the wallet top-up form.
3. Enter the amount and review the selected payment method. The saved-card path accepts $1–$10,000.
4. Select **Pay \$…** and complete any bank verification.
5. Check the successful payment result, updated account balance and credit in the account ledger.

If an earlier payment is unresolved, use its recovery/status controls before initiating another payment. A bank charge without a confirmed wallet credit needs investigation; do not pay twice to force the balance to change.

## Payment choices

| Control | Values and effect |
| - | - |
| Saved card | Charges the selected saved payment method |
| Pay with a new card | Opens the new-card payment flow; may create or repair this account's Stripe customer |
| Top-up amount | Whole-dollar amount from $1 to $10,000; the form starts at \$50 |
| Amount shortcuts | $25, $50, $100 or $250 |
| Pay \$… | Starts the reviewed payment; complete any bank verification and check the ledger afterward |

These are the client-wallet form's amounts. Workspace-wallet payment limits are different.

## Automatic top-up

Under **Automatic top-up**, enable the switch, set **Top-up amount (USD)** and **When balance is below (USD)**, then **Save changes**. Use **Repair auto-pay** if the page requests it, and verify the card and settings afterward.

| Automatic top-up control | Accepted values and meaning |
| - | - |
| Enable automatic top-up | On or off; enabling requires a usable saved payment method |
| Top-up amount (USD) | $1–$10,000 USD, in \$0.01 increments; amount to charge for a refill |
| When balance is below (USD) | $0–$10,000 USD, in \$0.01 increments; balance threshold for a refill attempt |
| Save changes | Saves the changed refill amount and threshold while automatic top-up is enabled |
| Repair auto-pay | Saves the displayed refill settings when the page reports a repair is needed; first resolve the card issue |

The enable switch saves its on/off change immediately. The amount controls and Save changes are disabled while automatic top-up is off. Review the loaded saved values before changing them.

Refills can fail. Monitor the balance and payment errors; a saved automatic setting is not proof of a successful refill. If a funded account still cannot place a call, ask the agency to check its workspace balance and the returned calling error.
