# Fund the workspace wallet

> Add usage funds to the correct workspace and configure automatic refill attempts.

The workspace wallet pays Assistable usage costs. It is separate from any client account wallet and from your platform subscription. See [How Billing Works](/v3/billing-guide) for the billing categories.

## Add funds

1. Open **Settings → Billing** in the intended workspace and check **Wallet balance**.
2. Select **Add balance** and enter the amount. The saved-card flow accepts $10–$5,000 per payment.
3. Choose the payment method or use **Add card**. Saving a card does not itself add funds.
4. Review the amount on **Add \$…**. If no saved method is selected, continue through checkout instead.
5. Complete **Verify payment** if your bank requests it.
6. Wait for the payment receipt, then check both the wallet balance and its credit transaction.

## Top-up controls

| Control | Values and effect |
| - | - |
| Amount to add | $10–$5,000, with up to two decimal places |
| Amount shortcuts | $25, $50, $100 or $250; you can edit the amount afterward |
| Saved payment method | Select the card for this payment; inspect its ending digits |
| Save default | Saves the selected card as the default payment method; it is separate from submitting the top-up |
| Add card | Adds a payment method; does not fund the wallet |
| Add \$… | Submits the reviewed payment; bank verification may be required |

The payment controls stay locked while an unresolved payment needs verification or recovery.

## Recover an unconfirmed payment

If the dialog says the previous payment is unconfirmed, use **Retry original payment** with its original amount and card. Do not start another top-up simply because the balance has not refreshed. If payment status cannot be loaded, retry the status check first.

## Configure auto-pay

In **Auto-pay**, turn on **Enable autopay**, set **When balance falls below**, and set **Add to wallet**. A saved payment method is required. Each change saves as you make it; reopen the settings to confirm it.

| Auto-pay control | Choices |
| - | - |
| Enable autopay | On or off; unavailable while wallet data is loading, in error, or no saved card exists |
| When balance falls below | $10, $25 or \$50 |
| Add to wallet | $10, $25, $50, $100, $200, $250 or \$500 |

The selectors also retain an already-saved amount outside these standard choices. They show the workspace's stored settings; do not assume another workspace uses the same values. Amount selectors are disabled while auto-pay is off.

Auto-pay attempts a payment; it cannot guarantee bank approval. Monitor failed or pending attempts and keep enough balance for expected activity while payment is processed. If an auto-pay failure needs repair, resolve the card problem before re-enabling it.

For a client paying your agency, use [Subaccount Wallet](/v3/guides/billing/client-wallet). Funding that account does not refill this workspace wallet.
