# Connect one GoHighLevel location

> Connect a single GHL location without importing an agency portfolio.

Use the GoHighLevel connection flow when you need one client location. A GHL-connected account is different from **Create a direct account**, which uses Assistable's built-in CRM.

## Before you start

Sign in to the Assistable workspace that should contain the account. Have a GHL login that can authorize the desired location. Eligibility is based on available authorization and account permissions; this guide does not require a named GHL price plan.

## Steps

1. Open **Accounts → New account → Connect GoHighLevel**.
2. Select the intended location in GoHighLevel's authorization flow and approve the requested access.
3. Return to Assistable and open that account. Check the business name and location before adding assistants or contacts.
4. Open **Sub-account connection** in the account header and wait for the check.
5. After **Connected** appears, test the operation you need: for example, load and select the correct calendar before testing a booking.

## Troubleshooting

If the location is unavailable in the chooser, use a GHL user who can authorize it. Do not choose a different client as a workaround. If an existing location is associated with another workspace, resolve its ownership with your administrator.

For **Access revoked**, repeat authorization. For a temporary GHL connection error, retry the check. **Refresh from Agency** requires an appropriate agency connection; it is not a substitute for obtaining access to an unrelated location.
