A website voice demo can show a visitor how an assistant handles a specific enquiry. Keep the example short, make the roleplay clear, and separate simulated actions from real bookings or messages.

Define the demonstration

Choose one customer journey, such as an appointment enquiry for a home-services business. Decide what the visitor will learn and how the demo ends. Example prompt instructions:
Adapt the prompt to your own business and available integrations. You can build this from Blank canvas; it does not require a specially named template.

Build the demo

  1. Create a separate demo assistant.
  2. Add the roleplay instructions and accurate information about your actual service.
  3. Test the transition into and out of the roleplay in Chat Lab.
  4. Configure the voice and publish the assistant.
  5. Test a spoken conversation in Voice Lab.
  6. Create a Floating Orb or voice-enabled Chat Widget and assign the demo assistant.
  7. Install the generated widget snippet on the demo page.

Add a real next step

If you offer booking after the demo, configure the real calendar and booking tools first. Make the switch explicit: “The demonstration is finished. Would you like to book a real consultation?” Confirm a booking only after the tool returns a successful result. If no booking integration is configured, use a clear contact link or another supported next step instead of promising an appointment.

Check the public experience

Open the published page as a new visitor. Test a normal demo, an unrelated request, missing contact information, and a failed action. Confirm the roleplay cannot be mistaken for a real transaction and that any real booking appears in the intended calendar. See Floating Orb, Voice Enabled Chat Widget, and booking setup.
