A workspace contains your client accounts. Each client account has its own assistants and operational data. Start by choosing whether the account will use GoHighLevel or Assistable’s built-in CRM.

Before you start

Sign in to the intended workspace. For GoHighLevel, use a GHL login that can authorize the agency or location you want to connect. Check your available account allowance before importing several locations.

Add an account

  1. Open Accounts, then New account.
  2. Choose Create a direct account for the built-in CRM, or Connect GoHighLevel for a GHL agency or location. A Direct account does not require GHL authorization.
  3. Complete the selected setup. For GHL, review the location or agency in the authorization screen before approving it.
  4. If the agency app is already installed, choose New account → Import installed locations. Select the locations you need and review the selection count before clicking Import. The dialog checks existing accounts and available capacity.
  5. Open the resulting account and confirm its business name, location and timezone before creating an assistant.

New account choices

After Direct creation, Your account is ready shows the Inbound webhook URL and Webhook secret, with copy controls and Show/Hide webhook secret. The secret is also available in the account’s Integrations. Use the Direct integration guide when connecting an external message source. For Transfer account, provide the existing Location ID, optionally explain the request, confirm the information, then choose Create Request. A submitted request is not a completed transfer: the source workspace must approve it. If the location is missing, already belongs to the destination, has a pending request, or has no source member able to approve it, resolve the displayed error; the last case requires support.

Import controls

Selections start empty. The dialog checks existing accounts and current capacity before enabling import. If it reports fewer loaded locations than the agency total, contact support for the missing locations rather than assuming the search covers the whole agency.

Verify the result

For a GHL account, open Sub-account connection in the portal header. Wait for Connected: this check contacts GHL using the account’s location. Then verify the specific feature you need, such as loading the correct calendar. A successful connection check does not establish that every integration feature is configured. If the import reports that accounts were imported but details could not be refreshed, refresh Accounts and inspect those accounts before repeating the import. If the account limit prevents a selection, reduce it or review the workspace plan.
