Choose the access scope first. Workspace membership is for people who should work in the agency workspace. Account membership is for people who should work in a specific client account; it does not grant parent-workspace membership.

Invite a client to an account

  1. In Accounts, open the client’s Manage access action and choose Invite Member.
  2. Enter the invitee’s name and email and choose the offered account role. Review the address before adding it to the invitation list.
  3. Add any other intended recipients, then send the invitations.
  4. Review each result. If some invitations fail, retry only the failed entries after correcting the error.
  5. Ask the recipient to open the invitation using the invited email. Existing users sign in; a new user sets a password and creates an Assistable account through the invitation.
  6. Check the account’s members list after acceptance, then have the user open the intended account.
Account Owner, Admin and Member roles can manage account members; read-only members cannot. Removing an Owner requires the appropriate Owner authority. Review the role carefully before sending access.

Workspace access

Use Settings → Members for an agency teammate who needs workspace access. Review the workspace role and account access in that invitation. Do not invite a client to the entire workspace solely to let them open their account wallet.

Roles and scope

The account invitation offers Member (the starting selection) and Admin. Owner and Viewer can appear on existing memberships, but they are not choices in this invitation. Account Owner, Admin, and Member can manage account members; Owner removal needs Owner authority. Do not interpret an account role as a workspace billing role. For workspace teammates, the role meanings shown in Settings → Members are: Workspace Owners and Admins can edit member roles; the editor offers Admin and Member. Review the separate Account access selections for each teammate. Feature-specific permissions still apply, and portal navigation visibility alone is not permission to perform an action.

Remove access or cancel an invitation

Open Manage access, identify the exact member or pending invitation and use its removal or cancellation action. Review the confirmation. A pending invitation is not an accepted account membership. If an invitation says it has already been accepted, sign in with the invited email. If the browser is signed in as someone else, switch accounts before accepting. If the member list cannot load, retry without sending duplicate invitations. See client wallet access, navigation permissions, and portal locks.
