A custom menu link opens the Assistable portal from a GoHighLevel location. Generate the link in the workspace that should own those accounts; do not reuse another agency’s link.

Before you start

Connect the intended GHL agency or location and have access to the agency’s Custom Menu Links settings. If using a branded domain, finish its domain verification first.
  1. In Assistable, open Accounts → New account → Custom menu link.
  2. Select the default portal domain or an available verified domain.
  3. Review the client auto-invite choice. Changing it saves the workspace’s auto-invite setting; enable it only if you intend connecting client users to receive access.
  4. Copy the generated URL unchanged. Its location and user placeholders are filled by GHL; do not replace them with one customer’s details.
  5. In the GHL agency’s Custom Menu Links, add the copied URL. Show the item inside the intended locations with agency-level visibility off. Enable microphone access if users will use Voice Labs inside the portal.
  6. Save, open a target GHL location as the intended client user, and use the menu item.
Switching auto-invite off is not a member-removal action. Review existing memberships through Manage access.

Check the result

Confirm the portal opens the intended account under the intended workspace. Test a second location if the link is shared across clients. Separately check Sub-account connection; a working menu link alone does not prove CRM access. If your branded domain is missing from the selector, review its verification status. If link settings fail to load or the auto-invite setting fails to save, retry in the dialog before copying. For a microphone failure, check both iframe permission and the browser’s microphone permission. See domain setup, user access, and GHL connection.
